Hey there! We’re so glad you’re interested in City Kids. This is the children’s ministry at City Church. We are committed to loving on, teaching, and caring for the needs of our children, all while empowering them to become leaders through their God-given gifts. We love children, and we want each of them to discover the life, freedom, healing, and purpose that only Jesus can offer them! With this goal in mind, we have worked to create an atmosphere that is fun, inspires creativity, and models what it looks like to follow Jesus every day! We believe that God has something special for each kid that worships with us. We can’t wait to meet your kid and share with them the truth of God’s Word!
CITY KIDS
City Kids meets every Sunday during our main services at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
City Kids Experiences
Nursery (Birth – 18 months)
We care for babies in an environment that is safe, fun, and loving! Our nursery team prays over each child, sings songs, and interacts with them through imaginative play. We strive to ensure our babies see, hear, and feel love of Jesus every Sunday morning.
Toddlers (19 months-2 years)
We aim to share the love of Jesus with our toddlers through social playtime, worship, crafts, prayer, and Bible storybooks. We want to teach our toddlers about Jesus in a way that is memorable and fun!
Preschoolers (3-5 years old)
We engage preschoolers on Sundays through fun games, art, video lessons, and interactive activities led by our passionate serve team! We focus on three main truths: God made them, God loves them, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever.
Elementary (K-5th grade)
We offer a powerful worship experience with music, Bible study, and small group activities. To captivate the attention of our kids we use engaging skits, videos, games, and crafts. Our small group leaders communicate Biblical truths to our kids every Sunday while connecting with them through conversation and prayer.

If your family is planning a visit, our team will be eager to greet you at our First Time Guest Check-in in the main hallway of the church. Make sure to let us know it’s your first time when you arrive! We look forward to meeting you and your kids! Save the step! Mother’s Room
Our Mother’s Room, which is located across from the City Kids Check-in, is available for mothers of infants. This allows mothers the opportunity to be involved in the worship experience while caring for the needs of their little ones in a quiet, comfortable, and private environment.
After Service
Be sure to have your security tag ready at classroom check out to help us ensure the safety of your child. If you have multiple children, hold on to this tag as you will use it at each room. On your way out, be sure to stop at the Connect Center in the main hall. We have a small gift for your child and want you to know that we enjoyed having your family for the first time! We hope you will join us again!

Easy Check-In
Download the Church Center App and choose City Church Shreveport as your church. You will be able to check-in your child while you’re on the way to church! Upon arrival, simple scan the QR code at the check-in center.
